Next, we have to deal with Social Security and Medicare. I would propose a 10-20 year transition to private accounts that are tagged to individuals rather than the collectivist ponzi schemes we have now. This would have to be a gradual transition so we don’t screw those who have already had their money taken from them and put into these programs.
Finally, I would eliminate unconstitutional departments that exert control over our economy such as Agriculture, Education, and Energy. These government agencies increase costs and create misallocation of resources. They are harmful to us anyway regardless of the debt.
