first of all be very careful. If you owe less than 5000 have you tried just curbing your expenses and perhaps getting more hours at work(or maybe even a temporary part-time job) and trying to pay it off. Check out a wonderful financial mind named Dave Ramsey. He has a web-site and a wonderful book called Total Money makeover.
