You may recieve an offer from a new card company to transfer your balances from higher interest cards to theirs at a 0% interest rate. Then, tear up those other 2 cards and only pay the principle balance with no interest on the new card. Just remember, don’t go using the new card.

Do a balance transfer to a credit card like Blue from American Express at 4.99% fixed rate for the life of a balance transfer. Compare and quickly apply online at http://www.CreditCardWave.com

First off, do not go to a financial consultant as one of the comments mention. They tend to complicate matters because they want to sell their own products and services.

What you need to determine first is how much is the combined balances of those two cards, let’s say you’ve maxed them both out and they were both $5k each so basically for instance you owe $10k.

The best way would be to see if you have any assets that could lower your debt ratio, if you can pay off half of each credit card your monthly payments will reduce and become more manageable consequently.

Getting 3rd party consolidation seems promising but in the long run you end up payment for many years to come, considering the repayment period you’ve settled with the consolidating firm.

So not to get into all that, take the simple route and do not go the consolidation firms that promise you the moon to get out of debt.

And the way i’m looking at it, you are not in a lot of debt, again presuming your cards are not like $50,000 each because in that scenario you need professional help. Most definitely.
